PODIUM was founded in 1988 by Dr. Melvin Ruiz-Miranda and Nixa Viera Martínez with the purpose to promote and teach Advanced Communication Skills and Behavioral Change Skills. They are particularly dedicated to the study of Neuro Linguistic Programming, Clinical Hypnosis and Accelerated Learning Strategies. Dr. Melvin Ruiz is a Certified Master Trainer for the International N.L.P. Trainer's Association (INLPTA) and his training at the Practitioner and Master Practitioner levels are endorsed by the I.N.L.P.T.A. To view his qualifications see his resume page. Our programs are conducted either in Spanish or in English. At present we offer training in Neuro Linguistic Programming, PowerSpeak ( Advanced Public Speaking Skills), Clinical Hypnosis emphasizing the Ericsonian Model, Advanced Negotiation and Persuasion Skills and SuperLearn (Accelerated Learning Strategies). We offer training in our facilities located in San Juan, Puerto Rico or provide in house training to the industry.

Our training facility is located in Hato Rey, Puerto Rico and can accommodate up to thirty students. Our purpose is to provide a training with individualized coaching which is the reason we limit the number of participants at each training. To provide a learning environment we use super learning and accelerated learning strategies in our trainings. Classes are therefore geared to the conscious and to the unconscious mind allowing the participants automatic access to the information and skills in the future.
